In 2026, Bukhara International University was visited by the rectors of prestigious universities of Kazakhstan — Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (TOP-1000) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (TOP-200). The guests were officially welcomed by the university rector and ознакомились с современными условиями, созданными в вузе.
During the visit, important memorandums were signed aimed at developing bilateral cooperation, launching joint educational programs, expanding scientific research activities, and strengthening academic exchange.
The rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, and the rector of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Zhanar Temirbekova, familiarized themselves with the university infrastructure, educational process, and student life. A cultural program "Navruz Traditions" was presented to the guests.
Following the negotiations, memorandums aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation were signed. Within the framework of these agreements, joint educational programs, scientific projects, and academic exchange of professors and students are planned. The guests were also awarded the honorary title of “Honorary Academician of Bukhara International University”.
